Hello! I have been lurking here for about a month now, and I have really enjoyed myself. I have learned a few things and had quite a few ideas spark up from reading your posts. I have also laughed hard quite a few times! I love Tarot, and I have no one in my life who is interested in it. My friends tolerate it, but I can't really discuss anything to do with Tarot in depth. I occasionally read for others, and read for myself often. I also use the cards to study correspondences, astrology, qabalah and other things too. I am a single mom of two bright children and an adorable Pug. We live at the end of the road in Ely Minnesota, a small town surrounded by millions of acres of forest and thousands of lakes, most of which are designated for canoeing only. I love the outdoors, so I live in the perfect place for me. Well I don't what else to say, but Hello! I am looking forward to participating in many fun and educational (for me) conversations. Take care. |

Hello from the land of the loons
Quote:
I was really stumbling and floundering with trying to read cards. All the differnent books that give you vague meanings and one spread..the Celtic cross. I would feel so disappointed with myself that I would put the cards down for awhile...and then I found this place, and really started getting my "groove". I like the fact that you study astrology and qabalah...(I can hardly say that word..lol) That stuff is a little over my head right now, but if I have any questions about it I have you to ask. Anyways...You and your children..(and the loons) have a lovely evening. Ferne __________________ And those that danced they thought insane, for they could not hear the music. |

Welcome home, cmarie. I'm sure as you have witnessed that people here are very supportive and warm and oh so helpful. Ely sounds wonderful and magickal. Blessings to you and yours.

I cannot say Qabalah either, I really can't! But I can write it. I think it confuses me because it has about twenty different spellings. I am glad I found this place and came out of the lurk, thanks for making me feel welcome.

I belonged to the Wolf Center a few years ago and have spent a bit of time there with the kids. The thing that amazes me is how big they are! I have seen a few in the wild, and at night, in the woods, you can hear them howling or yipping and barking at each other. I have a friend who can howl like them and sometimes he can get them to howl back at him - it's a trip! Thank you for saying hi, I'll see you around!

Hey, I just noticed you are in Finland - so many of the people from here are of Finnish descent, most of the locals actually! My family tree goes back to Finland also. |
