The Moon card is another one that has be stymied, as i like most of them; but right now i am favoring either version 2; version 5 or version 6.

You know, sis, regarding all the crossroad cards, i am kind of leaning towards version 1 the 'white' one
...because there is so much 'pink' in this deck, maybe a whiter cherry blossom tree would balance out the deck? i really like it
...and sorry but version 5 (bluish bricks)...kind of leaves me cold...i think it might be a little too plain for my tastes.

...and yes, being at a crossroad (with this card) makes sense to me, because i think there is just something so magical
about a lennie deck...and you end up actually 'living' out (the meaning of) the card you are involved with!

Hon, my dear sis, it is even more 'dee-fee'cult' (as you say...LOL) when you have
created the cards and then still can't decide which version you like best!

Here is what i am thinking this morning...after i slept on it...regarding the moon card:
i am now thinking that the moon card should fit in (or look good) with the sun card...
Kind of like they are a pair...day and night...etc.

So the sizes of each should be close...i think i missed my mark there because in some of
my moon card versions, my moon is probably way too big...
It makes me kind of sad because i like the moon huge, awesome, and magical looking...
Maybe i can make the sun 'larger' in my sun card.

Here is another thing i can do: Make a comparison sample of each version of my moon cards
next to the sun card... (sets) so you can see how they actually would match up together in the finished deck.
i will work on that shortly...and on the last card the scythe! YIKES!!!

Moon - versions 2, 4 and 5. Maybe not in that order, but those three are great! I like 4 the best, but also 5. How big is your sun card?? I guess we'll need to see a side-by-side comparison.

I like V.2 of the Moon because of the pinks and blues in the sand and all. FIts with your color scheme. Oh decisions .... decisions .... !!

I also think that the sun and moon do not need to be exactly the same -- they are different symbols, and how often do they come up together anyway?? I think you can look at each one separately.

i just compared the different Moon card samples with the Sun Card. i think if you can make the moon smaller in version 5, it would match up beautifully with the Sun Card. Better to make the Moon smaller, than the Sun larger IMHO.

Skydancer, i kind of like the moon card version 2 along with you...the only thing is
that it is so light looking. i tried darkening it, but then it loses something

While the moon and sun don't necessarily have to be the 'same exact' size, they shouldn't
be too far off either or it would unbalance the other cards a little too much. So just so long
as they are fairly close in size it will work for me.

...and yes you are right about some comparison images...so i have been busy making a BUNCH up...LOL

My sis, i made up a new sun, and another version of the moon...so before i 'revamp'
the moon version 5 card, see if you like any of the comparison images? (just to make sure
before i do all that work on version 5)

Here are the comparison images and the new sun card:
(as i kept looking at our sun card (it is really nice) BUT it kind of stuck out like a sore thumb
because of the dark 'oranges' and dark colors...kind of doesn't match the light airy deck
So i made a new 'lighter' version of the sun card...

Re: 'The last image' posted here i like, BUT, i think they both are way too dark for 'this' deck...

Since i have '9' images to post, i will have to post only 5 in this post and 4 in a next post...
(so look for both posts with the comparison images)

...and let's see what choices you like after seeing them all compared...LOL

We might be able to have 2 moon cards and 2 sun cards... i will figure that out right after
the Scythe card is decided on...(which is...hey..the LAST CARD in the deck to do!!! )
If we can settle the sun and moon card...i can go on with the scythe...

My 2 favorite card comparison sets are Moon--Version 5 with Version 3 Sun--

They are both gorgeous! But Moon 5 is my very favorite, as it is truly Magical to me. i hope you don't make it much smaller, if you do.

P.S. i like the new Sun [version 3] Card much better!
