Dear Tarot Genie, please change the colors on my Fairy Tale Tarot into bolder colors!

Oh I like that card!

Shows how we're all different.

I bet I've posted here before, but anyway...

Navigators of the Mystic SEA; big and borderless!

The total elimination of all US Games plaid backs - RWS, 1JJ SWiss, Tarot of the Witches, Tarot Classic.

A large "professional edition" by LoS not of the Universal/de Angelis RWS deck but of the Liber T

Regarding specific cards, sadly, the reworked Lovers card in the 2nd edition of the Bohemian Gothic still makes me weep.

Skim off all cartooniness - like excess fat - from the Wildwood. Then I might be able to begin taking it seriously.

I would want all decks to be

A) borderless
B) the size of playing cards

I’d make every deck I own borderless. Why do cards have borders anyway? If I trim all the cards, then they’re too small.

I love the Paulina deck more than any others, but the details are difficult to see. I’d make them slightly larger, without borders, and give them deeper color.

The Llwellyn tarot is almost perfect except for the Lovers. I find that very christian looking angel in the background an eyesore; it doesn’t seem to fit.

The Judgement card is my favorite card of all; I see it as ‘awakening’ STS, so I’d most definitely get rid of that dreadful Rebirth card in the DruidCraft. While I’m at it, I’d change the names of The Lord and The Lady.

It’s early here and I may have many more, so I hope it’s okay to add more posts to this thread.

I just want my Mary-El to be in a non-sticky lamination. :-S

I always thought it looked like an armadillo, myself, but I think it is supposed to be a footstool!

LOL, I agree. I love this deck anyway though. The only card I really don't like is the Sun card. The guy looks like he has Anorexia, and his legs are too far apart and it's a bit too new-agey for me.

You know, it occurs to me that there are many people out there who regularly use tarot (for whatever purpose) who probably have never had an inkling that they could wish for changes to their decks. These are likely people who use the same deck all the time and are oblivious to the world of tarot commerce, publishers, manufacturers and printers, and so on.

They might be bewildered by this thread. Change the borders? Whatever for?

By all means, please do. I thank everyone for their posts thus far, and might as well admit that it doesn't really bother me that many listed more than one deck to make changes to. I'd rather have more responses to ponder than not.
