I love looking at my various decks and am constantly amazed by how each deck adds new dimension to a certain card. I guess I am more of a visual person, that way.

for ex, my favorite card - Seven of Pentacles from the Sweet twilight - it looks like such a party and they are all headed some place fun, which I usually can't associate with the 7P.

Seven of Pentacles from Phantasmagoric theater This card puts a totally different spin on the usual RWS 7P!
lol at falling asleep over the Zodiac. But your association of the six of Pents with Taurus and Earth shows that the study paid off! You can combine all kinds of fun things with your cards - numerology, colour theory, Jungian and Freudian symbols, even just something as simple as the tiny frog or fairy in the rushes in the scene on a card. use your eyes, your mind, your heart, your intution, your "gut"...and then, go even farther, and push yourself to see beyond that. Tarot is an exciting voyage.

Loved your examples! Thanks for posting them! Love especially the Seven Pents
and now I am dragging your thread off topic, so on that note...good luck, and please, if you ever have anything I can help you with, please don't hesitate to ask! I have enjoyed our exchange!

Hanged Man would be the...masochist.

The man is the head and the woman is the neck. And everyone knows that it is the neck that turns the head

By the time the person has gotten to the 8's, they either know what they're doing, or are learning with a great deal of practice to know what they're doing. That's not sexual exchange, by the way, in bed. It's research on the internet, it's discussions with their lover. It's trying things out with their lover and making notes--again and again till they know what works. Which is why I wouldn't use Ramsay as the example. He's like a great and volatile artist--competitive. He is going to cook up a masterpiece for you and he expects you to trust him and be impressed. That's more Wands. Wands always want to burn hotter and brighter than anyone else.

Pents simply want to do it right. You want your fish poached to just a second before done and thus a little rare? He'll make fish after fish till he gets it just right. Then it gets served to you. Which is why there isn't disappointment when he gives you that finished product. Because he's not going to give it to you till it's exactly right and he knows it's exactly what you want and how you want it--and also exactly how he wants it because getting it done better than right reflects on him, too. Yes?

There is less a risk of disappointment then of the 8/Pents person saying. "Okay, let's do it again...."

6P would be the equal give and take, I guess. Although in 6P one party is always the giver and the other, the receiver so I guess equality is out the bedroom window I wonder what signifies an equal sexual give-and-take? Two of pents?
As said in that nice discussion, the 6 pents is actually equal, because the "giver" needs to give and the taker provides them with a way to do that. So the "taker" is actually giving as well, and the giver is actually taking as well.

2/Pents is a balancing act. 2's are often about maintaining two things at once because you don't yet want to make a decision. This is very much true of the 2/Pents where you're juggling what "work" you put into something between two things, giving each enough to keep it in hand but not enough to become more. In sexual terms, that means that you're either juggling two sweethearts--neither of which is given enough time and attention to be your lover, or you're juggling your time and attention between a sweetheart and something else (like your job). And, again, because your sex life with this person isn't getting your undivided attention, it can't grow or develop. 2's usually tell you that a decision needs to be made.
