I'm so excited! The Complete Works of H.P. Lovecraft and a deck of Gipsy Lenormand cards will be delivered today. I wanted the Lovecraft because I have the deck and thought this might give me "in the mood" vibes. 2001 Mythic Tarot Set

Ghosts and Spirits Tarot
I have been drawn to this deck and then had concerns about buying it. I decided to just go ahead and give in to the draw I have for this deck. I just ordered Ghosts and Spirits Tarot by Lisa Hunt. I even payed the $3.99 to get one day shipping. lol Fingers crossed that I love it!  BeyondtheVeil |

Finally picked up the Morgan Greer today at my local shop - the "Made in China" edition. I think it's going to be a workhorse - sturdy card-stock, nice matte finish, familiar images. strong colors, no borders (now I see why people go to the trouble). One odd thing, though - many of the "sky" backgrounds have small black or red specks on them. Is that common? __________________ Hamlet was right! But so was P.T. Barnum . . . |

I got some fanning powder today for a deck that I used exclusively for probably more than a decade. The reason I quit using it at the time was because the cards started sticking together. I was also expecting The Gilded Tarot Royale and Tarot of Dreams today, but apparently they got hung up somewhere along the way thanks to the USPS. I am waiting for John Michael Greer's Sacred Geometry Oracle: Become the Architect of Your Life to add to my collection. Got the Oracle Tarot Deck and the Lazy Afternoon Tarot. I was thinking sooo much if I should get the Lazy Afternoon Tarot; sometimes I buy a deck and I think: that was another waste of money. I really don't know (just by looking at some pictures on the Internet) if I am going to like a deck or no until I see it. This one wasn't a dissapointment; I just love it! so glad I've got it! |
