Ritualistic Dream....
Ugh here we go again another dream that I have been trying to make sense of along with everything else. This time I came a bit more prepared with some pre analysis. I am still trying to figure out why I have dreams that are so vivid. I don't dream all the time but when I do it is amazingly real. So lets see what we can come up with here. Here is the excerpt from my journal. [The Dream] The dream took place at night time in a forest in what appeared to be near an old destroyed stone building. Inside the walls of the building were 4 other people and I sanding in a circle around a large stone circle. It appeared we were doing some ritual with our hands raised in a V over our heads uttering words I could not understand. From the circle burst 5 large glowing blue symbols suspended in mid air. The energy felt immense and overwhelming. This is when I woke up. With that said here is what I was able to come up with so far... From what I can make of it so far I know the circle represents some sort of protection and guarding due to the stone circle being within the circle created by our presence. The V made by our arms is representative of the roman numeral five. Which is a link between the spiritual and the earthly and very daring and bold calling upon what ever was called. The glowing blue runes have to do with my spiritual guide with great devotion and wisdom of some sort. The issue really lies in connecting the pieces together. Are there any other thoughts people can inject into this to help me out with making more sense of it? Maybe some alternative thoughts on the symbols in the dream. |

Though not my personal path, I strongly urge you to look into the Hermetic tradition (Enochian). Much of what you have written about your dream is similar to the experiences of a well respected Hermetic/Alchemical teacher who's talk I attended yesterday. I cannot accept that this is mere coincidence that you ask about this today after me hearing about it yesterday! |

I also find it unbelievably interesting you bring up the Hermetic path. This would be key to why I am so ridiculously drawn to the Thoth Tarot from a energy perspective. But have been avoiding it due to the massive complexity and huge undertaking it is. Everything about it is based around Egypt, Hermetics, Gnosticism etc... Right down to the Hermetic rose cross on the backing. Maybe I am looking in the wrong direction and I need to refocus and truly start to study Hermetic. Thank you Milfoil I think you were meant to get this message to me. It is no coincidence that I had the dream on the same day you went to that conference. This means you were meant to bring it up to me because I knew I had to post this here. |

The symbols you saw in the dream, were they like those of the Enochian alphabet of John Dee? http://enochian.info/enochian-alphabet/ Can you identify or remember the symbols? They could be a key to a deeper message. Manuscripts of John Dee: http://www.themagickalreview.org/enochian/mss/ |

No sorry I can't it is just to vague at this point. The blue was so bright it was hard to make anything out. But I do know their general shape. They looked somewhat like this sorry for the really bad art lol. |

Yes I would say similar to that but not as crisp and clear. Everything was very blurred to the the radiance of the blue light. It is hard to tell for sure but I would have to say yes similar in shape and structure slight curves boxy with points with clear gaps in the light as in has shape not just a blob. Sadly I wish I could be more specific but it just was not clear enough to be specific. The closest I could get is my drawing which may even not be 100% accurate. Yes I did notice one of those symbols matched mine which is quite odd considering I drew mine blindly from memory the best I could. |
