SO.

Today was 9/11.....none of us spoke. The forum didn't speak. Umbre's experience wasn't resurrected.....

Did no one notice?

how sad.

I'm going to bed.

I did notice...but didn't say anything aloud, I tend to be overemotional about it and figured it was best to keep it to myself....

Sweet dreams to you Stormy (((♥)))

I noticed, I am sick and had to work but I noticed. It's not something I talked about.

I knew today was coming since about the middle of last week. I was happy noone talked about it at work. I cry when I talk about it, still.

My cousin, Aaron was a firefighter that didn't get back out.

Yes. I remember.

I figured that it wasn't my place as a non-US citizen to bring up such an immense personal tragedy that means so much to so many Americans. I thought you were all having such a quiet day as personal retrospectives and wanted to respect that.

Today - finally - the desk arrives! Sadly if it hasn't arrived by lunchtime I have to make my own way home because you can guarantee if himself comes out to fetch me the desk will arrive while he is out. That's an absolute given! But - he's said if it's here early enough he'll put it together today too .

'Lo Stormy, Chiska, yira, Lute.

Glad your eye is improving, Lute. Fingers crossed it continues

Work from home sounds good, Chiska! Enjoy!

yira, your ex-neighbour sounds awful How judgemental and inappropriate - especially from someone who is basically a thief! Definitely better off with that one out of your life

Stormy, Therapist Extraordinaire $50/hour is underselling yourself, lady!
Quite a few 9/11 memorials on FB yesterday... definitely not forgotten. I think it's just that it's so sad, a lot of people like to remember it inside themselves and not talk about it, if that makes sense? I still get quite upset thinking about it. And it feels like it was so recent

It's raining here so not sure what we'll do for the day... not the beach. Maybe a walk on Exmoor, or a visit to a local town.

I subscribed to that Crone e-zine in the end, and did a bundle with their Witches & Pagans magazine and SageWoman (based on the idea of the Goddess being, and being in, every woman). Three new quarterly reads

Hi Est - I used to get Sagewoman delivered but tbh I got fed up with the total lack of men in the mag; after all, men comprise 50% of the human race and are just as important and essential as woman

Yeah - the moors in the rain can be no fun. Take care if you go wandering. Although Exmoor is much smaller than Dartmoor it can be awkward.

Hey - I haz bought a derelict dollshouse. It's over in Paignton and I am collecting it tonight. It was built and had the outside decorated but they never finished it and didn't decorate or do the lights or anything. Too good a price to ignore, so we'll fetch it this evening and it can wait its turn .

The house we fetch it from hasn't a number, just a posh name, and is a bit in the sticks. I'm gonna have to phone and ask for precise directions. The satnav looked at us and laughed . So did Googlemaps and Bing.....
