Fool and king of cups?

What do you think this pairing would say of a personality? I can't really imagine how these cards relate to each other. The king of cups seems sensible and mature and the fool is wild and adventurous so they truly seem like opposites.

It is for a future relationship/partner reading.

I don't read with reversals. Here I might blend the *flip* side of the fool and the king. So, someone who is cautious/not very trusting; especially in the area of emotions/relationships, and careful not to make a *fool* out of themselves.

A person who protects their deep emotions by displaying a carefree, happy-go-lucky attitude. Some may see them as silly or naive but there are lot of emotions underneath the surface. This combo could point to someone with a creative, artistic side.

I think that the character, Paige, from the TV show Royal Pains displays these qualities.

The Fool, for me, is about having faith in life, believing that life is always on our side, and that things will always work out for the best. So we are talking about someone with a very optimistifc nature.

The King of Cups is someone who is very in control of their feelings. They work out their feelings inside of themselves rather than let them out on others. they don't lose their temper or act out stress, Likely because they have just that much faith in life and things are always just as they are meant to be and that theing will always work out for the best no matter what we say or do.....that they don't stress or anger easily.

I was thinking he would be a water sign. She said she does like Pisces and Scorpio men and would love to date one. Any idea?

But what about a K/C that has the Fools qualities approach to life?

I see, I do read to include reversals and these were upright. So could we say the opposite? Someone who is trusting and emotionally well, someone who doesn't embarrass easily? I always took the King of Cups to be the most caring and mature of the four.

A certain kind of naivite combined with joie de vivre.
