Dark Grimoire Tarot - Temperance

A woman stands before a fountain pouring the contents of a jug into a bowl held by a man kneeling before her. Another 'man' stands behind him suggesting a queue. He looks somewhat suspiciously back at another man observing the scene.

As the man receiving the liquid is kneeling, it suggests movement from the higher to the lower plains. He is receiving a gift, something of great value. The liquid (with it's white colouration) could be milk, and therefore he is receiving nourishment.

The man behind him however seems to intrude on this peaceful scene. He appears somewhat greedy and suspicious - as if he's worried that someone will jump the queue! Perhaps there's a lesson here in being patient.

The fountain looks like the one on the 9 of Cups to me.
