I got my Crystal Vision Tarot today and I am so disappointed. Every eighth card was off center. About 3 mm of the actual left side of the image was cut off - not just the white border but clear into the image - and was visible on the right side of the card. Has anyone had good results contacting US Games on getting replacements?

I wonder if it depends what country it was made from? I was reading about how some RWS were made from certain countries like Italy or something, and wasn't made well? D:

Sad to hear that something went wrong with your deck. I got mine in January and all the cards were fine.

I'd probably try and contact the seller first and ask them to replace the whole deck, before asking US Games. (At least, this would be the correct legal solution in Europe - don't know about the US, though.)

USGames has their decks printed in a few different countries. Crystal Visions is printed in Italy. It shouldn't have anything to do with quality. Occasionally decks get messed up, or the printing goes awry in some way. Probably what you heard is that people prefer the decks depending on where they are printed - the Italian printings are usually very glossy, with a thinner cardstock, whereas the decks USGames has printed in China have a more matte finish and thicker cardstock (those are the ones I prefer). But regardless of whether the deck is from China or Italy, it should still be functional and printed correctly. Sometimes things get messed up, and a whole lot of decks with defects make it out onto the market.

I truly don't relish being the rainer- on-parades. But I see you've done it for me. I feel a veritable Scrooge commenting on decks which are vastly at odds with my tastes because usually the type I can't stomach (fairies, fey, gossamer wings, flying creatures, pretty maidens, etc.) is designed precisely in order to engender feelings of goodwill and positivity in its market, and I don't like being the thundercloud in their sunny day.

An AT member gave me a very good reading with this deck but the skill lay in the reader and his interpretation of the images that otherwise leave me cold at best (and give me a small shudder at worst).

Tell me, did this deck ever grow on you? I tried very hard to get on with the Hertz Faerie tarot (because of the seasonal theme, and because she is not unskilled as an artist), but it was a hard slog at times.

Wow! I totally forgot about this thread. My daughter{college age}still absolutely LOVES her Crystal Visions Deck! It is perfect for her and she actually loves doing readings with it. I will take whatever gets her reading and happy about giving readings. She didn't like a lot of decks, but this one really clicks with her.

We have had a very busy year, so I haven't had the chance to do a lot of things with Tarot during this time. Luckily, things are settling down and I hope to also get this deck. My daughter really finds it accurate and also gives her really deep readings. I think it also lies with the reader on how good or deep readings that you get. I think with any deck that there are people that click with it and those that don't. I LOVE the fact that this deck, and Ghosts & Spirits Tarot, both have extra cards. I think they really add to the deck and readings as does my daughter. Again.. that is a personal thing. I wasn't sure how I would feel about them, but I really like both cards in both of those decks.

Raeanne, I am so sorry that your cards were printed all weird. Please contact the place that you bought them and/or US games to see if you can get a replacement deck. I hope that you get it settled and really love your new deck! Please keep us updated.

I am so glad that so many others are enjoying their Crystal Visions Tarot deck! It is such a beautiful deck.

Aren't they? The backs are definitely the most beautiful that I have seen so far! I am so glad that you are connecting with them. My daughter said the exact same thing that you did. She also felt connected enough to start giving other people readings, which they said were spot on!

I just ordered this deck. I got a reading on my website yesterday and the payment barely hits my paypal before I've spent it. ha! I don't even remember what got me looking at this deck, but I ended up on Jennifer Galasso's website and the images are just lovely. Can't wait to see it in real life!

Reviving an old thread...

I just pulled out this deck again today- on and off I use it, and was again hit with how much I really love it.



There is just something about it- I can't even put my finger on it anymore. But it is one of my few decks that I own that is always easy to read. The meanings of the cards are straightforward (even if they change from reading to reading)- the symbolism that is applicable for each reading pops out so easily. It is just fantastic.

Anyone else still using and loving theirs? Just curious. I just haven't had a deck read so well for me in a long time. I just love it.
