8 of wands and 4 of wands as a place

From the RW deck, What would these two cards together be for a place, the first thing that came to my mind was a trip somewhere homey, like a cabin or a lodge. My next thought was a trip to a celebration or a trip after a celebration. I'm a little confused on how to figure these to out as a place only because I would never think of a flight or a "trip" as a place in the 8 of wands. Any help would be much appreciated.

I always suggest that folks look at the card imagery when trying to figure out what kind of place is represented by cards.

The 8 Wands could represent some place open, airy, outdoors. 4 Wands could represent an outdoor celebratory event. So together, they could represent a garden party, an outdoor wedding or reception or even just a gazebo. The speed aspect of the 8 could then suggest a weekend getaway destination (the place you go for a quick trip). Strangely enough I could even see the pair representing City Hall as the place couples go to get married quickly.

I'm thinking cottage - a little place to enjoy some R&R (4W) within reasonable driving/commuting distance (8W).

I agree, both cards indicate open, outdoor, and airy symbolism in the imagery.

This is the season for fall festivals (Oktoberfest, State Fairs), activities and settings that are more enjoyable outside in cooler weather compared to summer.

Ah! But it could also mean a celebration is in the planning stages, but the 8 Wands indicates
too many ideas about 'what to do' and there needs to be a little 'executive decision making.'

For example: 'Let's take a long weekend away!' City? Country? Mountains? Shore? Relaxing? Hiking?, etc.
