Thanks for the updated enabling on the Cosmic Le Fanu. I have the deck but you have inspired me to take it out again.

Tibor, sorry I can't help with the book, but the movie is wonderful, so helpful. And the interviews with other tarotists rounded out Enrique's views. But just to listen to him talk about the cards and reading and his approach is inspiring.

It's an odd deck. I was really excited about it when it came out, and liked a lot of it. The kings and queens were a big disappointment...it's the back of the throne, with maybe some thing or the other else there too. A lot of the cards do give "another view" but nothing earthshaking or even very interesting, and some don't seem to relate at all. I ended up getting a tiny RSW deck and gluing the original card somewhere on the face of the "new" card (It would probably been better to glue a full size card to the back of the new.)to try and get the most out of it, but it didn't really do much except make the deck bulky.

So, all in all, after giving this deck every opportunity to delight and enlighten me, I found it to be pretty much a Dud.

Yes, it probably would have been better presented as just a book. The deck, however, is destined to become a collector's item once it goes out of print. Or has it already?

I would love the movie, I didn't know there was a book. I saw the clip of the movie linked from Enrique's site and it was just incredible. It is more than a movie, it is a moving, talking work of art... I really really do want to get this! Wish it was available for download.

Thanks for the opinions on Tarot of the New Vision. I'm still on the fence, which for me means I wait. I try not to buy unless I'm sure I want something!

Hi Everyone ...

I've been looking at the Legacy of the Divine Tarot, and I'm hoping you can help me.

How's the card stock? I've read in some reviews that it's very flimsy.

It is a beautiful deck..... but the cardstock/ink combination doesnt work. I had shuffled mine just once (well one big shuffle from new to *break* the deck up) and already there are white marks on the edges where it looks like the ink has just rubbed off, same thing happened with another deck I have with dark borders... Vampyres I believe. This has been experienced by many of us here on AT.

However, having said that, Glass Owl came up with a great solution, use a permanent dye ink pad (as used by scrapbookers) and touch up the white marks!

I wonder if the Oracle of Visions is like this or if it has better cardstock as it was self published?
