A great twist for my boring daily draw ![]() A couple of days ago I tried this and I drew the 5 of wands, which I read as "what can I do to stand out from the crowd and be noticed today?" which was actually very appropriate for what was going on in my life that day. I will be using this technique more often, thanx for sharing

Yes, I second everyone here in echoing my thanks as well. I`ve got a couple of decks the Postman is bringing me soon, and I just might ease into them using this technique. Thanks a bunch! Awesome idea! __________________ I'm a Wand who needs more Coin. |

Folks, thanks for the encouragement. By all means, please post your questions in this thread. You can post the answers, too, if you want. I give myself the task of interpreting this next card-question in a way that has nothing to do with me or any current situations I'm in. Transformational Tarot: Question: [The Star-- black spiders resting on their webs, against a sort of VanGogh-ish night sky.] "Why do we keep trying when it's all so much further out of our reach than it seems from where we're standing?" Answer: [ 6 of Wands, Lady Godiva-esque naked woman on a horse, looking down in a way that's at odds with the wreath of victory on her staff]: "We thrive on the thrill of victory, and after the parade is over, it quickly fades, leaving us hungry for the next 'win,' urging us on." Question: [2 of Wands--a woman staring hollow-eyed at some point we can't see, clutching a pomegranate and surrounded by roses, spiders and skills] "Is it better to be insensible to unpleasant reality and focus our eyes on our dreams, or to look around us and see both the beauty and the ugliness of our situations, to focus on the present to the exclusion of the future?" Answer: [ Two of Coins-- a young ballerina faces us as she dances on the highway with a dark shadowy figure reaching out from behind, its arms stretched toward her] : "It's better not to know what lurks in the dark if it keeps you from dancing. Keep your face forward and keep dancing toward your dreams." |

What a great idea, Chiriku! I will do some readings in the future. This also helps for learning the cards or adding up to the knowledge you may already have. Wonderful! Thanks for sharing. Blessings, Zelmira __________________ A Child of God |

Love this method for asking questions
I have been trying to find a new way to learn from my cards and thought I would have found it quite hard to get a question from a card so I tried and this was my result Cosmic Tarot Deck Card drew for question ~ The Magician ~ Card For Answer ~ 6 of Cups At first couldn't really put it together then I was drawn to all the tools illuminated by a yellow light the same light also beamed out from the magicians eyes down towards the cup/wand/sword/pentacle and a illuminated yellow triangle on the third eye chakra. Then the question that came to mind was... Q ~How can I use all the tools I have to give me greater insight? The Card I drew for the answer was The 6 of cups The picture is of a couple, the woman is kneeling looking forward into the distance while the man places a gentle kiss on her cheek, five cups are in front of them gradually growing from small to larger and the sixth cup is behind the man tallest cup of all with a white bird flying high above the cup. My Answer... A. I need to look ahead and slowly understand the things I have learned so as to let a greater insight gradually grow from an understanding of past experiences and use these learning experiences as my tools to grow from an empty mind to a mind full of insight to give me greater freedom. Thanks Chiriku this have given me another way to get an understanding of my cards without having to refer to the traditional meanings, I will definitely be using this method for any other decks I use aswell

I have just seen this thread and thought l would give it a go. AMAZING Chiriku its uncanny, l used my osho zen and the question was Postponement and the answer was The Source. I have been putting something on hold and know l ought to get back to basics (the source) and do it. Pulling these cards tells me l ought to get a move on!!
