My name is Alexi and one could probably assume that my head is too far wedged up in the clouds. I am 15 years youthful as of November the 29th, although some may say older at the soul. I am quite often a dreamer and will not settle for any less than dreamed of, I am what most would consider to be an individualist with a passionate zest for the journey that is life and it's unknown, I am somewhat dangerously curious. I have an unusually expansive yearning to know of what is and what is to be, and my sense of self direction and purpose is more than considerably present. My pull towards the spiritual and or paranormal has proven itself significant throughout what has been most of my life so far, I wish to expand my knowledge on the art of Tarot divination as I believe that it will open doors for me both spiritually and practically, also having convinced that further pursuing Tarot (I have been experimenting with Tarot as well as other tools of divination for just under a year now) will strengthen other aspects of my psychic abilities. To cut what seems to be a long story short, I would very much like to say that I feel blessed to have now joined the mystical and knowledgable journey that is Tarotforum, I am utterly and completely open to advice and encourage those who have it to spare to do so. Do not hesitate in leaving me a message or two, for I usually am not one to turn down conversation with an un-familiar face. :-) Last edited by Indigochild; 29-09-2012 at 19:22. |

welcome, Indigo child, to AT! Wow, only 14, soon to be 15. You seem very articulate with this post introducing yourself! I think it is wonderful that you are exploring here at such a young age. It is a wonderful site to learn many things. I think tarot will indeed help to open doors for you, both spiritually and practically. you don't mention what deck(s) you have here, but I would encourage you to do a search on this site for some of your favorite decks to see others who have the same deck and threads that are specifically for these decks. There are many out there. If none of them appeal to you, no matter. My main advice for you is to practice, practice, practice. Post some of your readings here and ask for others opinions--AFTER you give your own, as that is required. As soon as you have 25 posts, (I think it is, but you can check)-you can begin to offer readings in exchange for feedback or readings for yourself. The games on AT are also really helpful and make it fun- to learn the tarot too. Above all--trust your instincts and enjoy yourself. If you don't enjoy it, it won't do you any good. It has to be interesting and fun and it can be! |
