@ desertrat Yeah, i really hope to...just know nothing about it and would love it if someone would take it and run with it. I expect that, even now, it it's unfinished state, that I would have enough to start soliciting publishers. I have all the majors and a whole suit of minors. I know I will finish it...and at the very least go to Gamecrafters...it's being done in their ratios for their smaller cards (it would be poker size...a bit small, but they still show clearly small like that.) I'd love to see them about Thoth-size. I can't afford to print them myself...and I don't forsee doing kickstarter, because I dont have the salesmanship to get the word out...nor have I the network: there doesn't seem to be much interest here on A.T. Right now, all I can deal with is the art. __________________ I don't know, don't really care Let there be songs to fill the air! |

4 of wands
Venus in Aries. Let it Grow! "Love Birds" might look rather plain to our waking eyes..but if we could see the energy surrounding them...they have created and maintain "sacred space" with their successful consummation...the Great Work is accomplished. The 4 of wands is traditionally known as "Lord of Perfected Work" ...what work is more perfect than this one? __________________ I don't know, don't really care Let there be songs to fill the air! |

5 of wands
Saturn in Leo. "Lord of Strife" traditionally; but it has assumed the reputation meaning "arguing/fighting". This would certainly apply in perhaps a reversed or ill-dignified position...but i have retitled it to "STRIVING". Meaning working your hardest to achieve something. Keep your eyes on the prize. Your path is blocked by four of the wands, in crossed position, where there is a natural friction..and flames leap forth there, as they will from two sticks rubbed together. You are ascending the mountain, and working against the natural force of gravity...so there's bound to be some burning in the thighs. The mars energy (5--Gevurah motivates, it doesn't attack. Often there will be several competing for the same prize...striving becomes COMPETITION, which is healthy. As i mentioned with the 5 of rings, I am attempting to "redeem the 5's" from their automatic negative connotations. Two in one day? 6 of Wands
Victory. Simple design, but that made it go fast. You can really see my controlled scribble in this one! __________________ I don't know, don't really care Let there be songs to fill the air! |

7 of wands.
Mars in Leo. Valor. We'd say Courage. This little guy's about to get his butt thumped. Or is he? He's drawing on the underground serpent fire: a force his opponents know nothing about. The SIX of wands (victory) face off with the ONE. This is the card about facing your giants. Tolkien said that the bravest form of courage was when we face certain defeat, with no hope of winning, and charge in anyway. __________________ I don't know, don't really care Let there be songs to fill the air! |

Eight of Wands
Thanks! Here's the eight: Swiftness. Mercury in Sagittarius. Now I'm thinking I'll go back and fix the three, which really came out bad. I think I know what to do, but I need to play with it first. I've decided to go with the Game Crafters. I can't forsee dealing with self-publishing in quantity....just not my bag. And from TGC i could go on to a regular publisher if they'll have me. Seems like there's gotta be a book to go with it. I suppose that's next. Anyhow here's the eight __________________ I don't know, don't really care Let there be songs to fill the air! |

3 of wands do-over
Here's the 3, redone. This is way better. Remember you can shrink these down to card size by hitting ctrl minus (-) on a windows computer. I know there's a keystroke on mac, too, but I don't know it. __________________ I don't know, don't really care Let there be songs to fill the air! |
