Sorry, Skydancer, hon, somehow I missed your post... Your 2 decks should be waiting for you because
i just checked my printer's log and it says that your order was 'completed' meaning delivered...
(I hope not on your porch since you are gone!) Will they be okay until you get home?

Oh, the original plain deck looks beautiful. The only reason i took off a little more on the bottom was
because it was a special requested order, and they wanted me to remove the borders all together,
but i wouldn't because it is my whole shabby chic theme. So i worked out a compromise with them.
So don't worry, the original deck looks super because the printer cuts off so much of the
border that i really need as much border left on the cards as i can get that looks shabby chic.
I think you will really love them.

RE: your pdf meanings file, i sent it to you tonight via your pvt email addy.
Hope you like your decks as well as the meanings pdf.

Please let me know if they were there when you get home, hon
(i hope someone was there to accept the delivery?)

Wow...it just took me about 4 solid hours (without stopping) just to mail out all the
PDF MEANINGS files ...yikes...i AM exhausted now...LOL

Things look like they may be smoothing out around here for me some... (but i don't trust it... LOL)
i do have 3 major events coming up in my life in the next 3 to 4 days...so wow it is not over yet! LOL

It is only 10 pm and i am thinking of going to bed early and just watch movies and REST up
...oops my dogs want ice cream...LOL

I've put together a deck -- now to go puruse the Pdf file!!

And what a surprise to see my name on the contributer's card --- I certainly had not expected that!! {{{H}}}

This is a deck that I will pass on to my kids-- thank you so much Lyn.

My deck arrived yesterday, but I got home late and didn't have a chance to do more than open the box and see what it was. Hopefully tonight I'll get a chance to look through it.

Thank you LadyZelda, i know how much you have struggled with your present internet service
because of living in such a remote area. It was the same here for many years,
but now more services are beginning to open up finally.
i do hope a better internet service will open up for you too...and soon!

I have really enjoyed that LWB!!! I think you did a wonderful job! I love the way you started your LWB with that little “story spread”! The cards were so well chosen to give out such a sweet message! just like my favorite version of The Letter card, where you wrote a little blessing for us all!!!


I also love the way you gave the meaning of the cards, it is straight to the point and I believe it is a lot better! Just want to mention that when I read your interpretation about The Snake card, I smiled at “Go around when cross a snake” because that is what I did recently!!! Very interesting background info about the broom! Didn’t know that one!The Joker for the Work card is a great choice! The combination examples are good and that is all that is needed. And I liked your explanation of the GT and advices you gave on reading the cards. Everything is clearly explained! Even though I read diverse “History” info on the Lenormand I really enjoyed yours and actually learned new things I didn’t know about the deck!

Thanks also for adding many useful info such as:

Cards suits, and Astro chart, numerology, “Other people focus cards” and the links (I didn’t have to type the links on my browser to go to the page; I just clicked on them!) I was able to download the PDF for the old book!

Congratulations and thanks again for your LWB that is far more than what LWB are!

@everyone:

After seeing a video with a GT lesson using 'mini' lenormand cards, i am now thinking
of making my Shabby Chicness Lenormand deck into a mini deck as well ...

...because...they fit so well on a GT spread cloth and then the whole layout (of all the cards)
is so much easier to take digital images of for sharing with others.

What do all of you think about also adding a SC mini deck for GT readings?

I went through all the cards and changed out the house, the snake, the flowers, the bear, and the letter. I started to change out the Gentleman and Lady for Johnny and Helena, but then decided that I didn't want the distraction of famous people, so I put the original cards back in the deck.

I haven't used the deck yet as I'm still lining up all my Lenormand ducks in a row, but I have printed out the PDF.

Great effort tarotlyn! It's a little girly/frilly for my tastes, but I'm happy to have it. I do notice though that the images on the website are brighter than the actual cards are.

I have no input about a mini Lenormand though.

That is really good rwcarter...sounds like you are having lots of fun with your deck
...yes it is a little frilly but not too bad...i think you will like it once you start reading with it.
As far as the coloring...it could be the difference between computer display screens because
mine look pretty close to the originals.

Re: Making as 'mini' version of this deck
When you start to learn to read using the GT, then you would appreciate really smaller cards
so that you could take digital images of the whole layout to share online with your friends or
in the lennie study threads.

Right now they are about the right size to enjoy the images, and will work for the GT but
if you want to take any pics of your GT layout you might have to get up on a ladder looking
down to get them all in the shot...LOL i have put mine on the floor and then straddled the
whole layout to take a shot

Anyway i am just thinking about a mini, but wanted to know what everyone else thinks...

i am really excited to see you are taking the leap to learn the lennies...don't let them fool you
they look very simple on the outside (and they are if you keep it that way), but they will
give you in depth readings if you want. They are fast you can use just one card for an answer
if you want on up to the whole deck in a spread.

You can do a google search for 'lenormand cards' and see everything that is happening out there
and you will find so many readers now getting into this plus all the new lennie creators and blooming...
