How to quote :.))

Hi folks :.)

Would somebody be so kind as to remind me how to do a quote of a section of text? I have clean forgot and i need to give feedback for a reading. I know it involves [[ this thing somewhere :.)))

Or click the "quote button" on the bottom left. There's a "multiquote" button, too.

Yeh I am aware or the quote button, it is quoting little segments I forgot how to do as I was off-forum for about a year so it went right out my head lol. Thanks for your points :.))

And please - EVERYONE - you do not have to quote an entire 3,000 word post to say "Yes, that is exactly what I thought." You can delete the extraneous parts OUT and just leave what you are referring to.

I only quote the part that I am responding to.

That's why I was pointing out the quote button, I assumed(which I guess I should not be doing) that the OP would do the quote button and delete what wasn't needed

That's just the way I do it- and it shows the "Quote" codes when you do that, too so you can put them wherever you want.

While you are working on your message, you can also utilize the "Preview Post" button to check on your quotations.

Please excuse if you are already familiar with using this button.
