I'm really new, so salutations Everyone! My name is K. I've been a Stone Reader [Rocks, not Runes] for years, but I've never actually met anyone else that read them quite like me. I draw or cast stones and use their colors and individual markings intuitively to tell a story or offer guidance. I also use them as a tool of Mediumship, and occasionally like Tarot [I draw them and place them into a spread]. I'd like to know if you have any advice, or techniques you'd like to share. I'd also love to give a reading to anyone who'd like one; so let me know, or just PM me if you need it to be more in depth/personal. __________________ "Evolution is a tightly coupled dance, with life and the material environment as partners. Hi...welcome to AT...never heard of a stone reader before. So do you use ordinary rocks or a bought set?. Im in the process of buying oracle and tarot...would consider divination as well. Have been reading bits here and there and trying new things out too. ![]() QUESTION: When do you send me travelling abroad next and what should I expect? Thanks for the offer...

Hi K., This sounds fascinating. Of course I've heard of lithomancy with gemstones but never with stones from the earth. I can envision someone collecting stones from beautiful places like rivers, forests, waterfalls, and mountains and developing a way to tap into their wisdom. I was intrigued enough to do a little online searching. I didn't find anyone who reads them like you do, but I did find some interesting ideas about using stones from the earth: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jxF88jF9Gc4: The young man in this video casts a pile of stones and interprets their shapes. http://paganwiccan.about.com/od/divi...ithomancy.htm: Patti Wigington talks about painting symbols on stones to make them meaningful. This is a fascinating idea that I'm going to keep in mind. I have a feeling that I'll be called to experiment with it someday. I won't ask you for a stone reading, though, because I'm not into foretelling the future. Just not my thing. But thank you for sharing. I'm inspired! :-) Blessings, Rainbow __________________ Before we can know the light, we must know the darkness. |

Hi I am Venessa. I used to read runes but it has been a long time. I just stick to tarot now. I am interested in how you do divination with rocks as I have always been curious to do so myself. I would appreciate a reading from you for myself. My husband and I have an upcoming move and I would like to know what I can anticipate as this move takes place or if its going to happen at all? Thank you Venessa __________________ "I was never kinder to the old man than during the whole week before I killed him." A Tell-Tale Heart Edgar Allen Poe |

I have collection many tumbled stones and raw stones from various vendors, crystal shops, clients, and friends/family throughout my years as a Reader. My stones have always found their way to me one way or another, but I've never actually read with a bought set. As for your question, I'm not exactly sure what you're asking. __________________ "Evolution is a tightly coupled dance, with life and the material environment as partners. How interesting! I'd love to take you up on your offer, if you're still around and working on these. I'd love to know, what is in store for my work life over the next few months? Thanks a million

Curious! Do you read any rocks or do you have just this specific collection that you will read? I read a number of abstract things myself: auras, feelings, symbols and signs--the signs include physical signs, such as a passing car or a billboard or the next animal I see. If you're up to doing a reading for me, I would very much love to ask--Sending you a PM! Love Ashtoreth __________________ --As above, so below. ~Hermes Trismegistus |
