Friday's Card
I just can't do the draw a card everyday thing...I'm not good at long term committment (lol) but I do like to draw an occasional card....so I thought a Friday Card thread might be fun and do-able... From the Mexican Loteria Deck #23 La Luna (The moon) The Lantern of Lovers It's funny I drew this card, have been thinking a lot about the moon. i am really interest in moon folklore and feel a connection to the moon for some reason. In the same sort of way I feel connected to my totem animals. It can indicate romance but it can also be a warning not to let strong emotion cloud the issue. It sometimes say...look closer, put a brighter light on this situation or something is clouding your vision. __________________ A dragonfly is a link to the past, a promise for the future, & a reminder of the magic of the moment." Friday Oct. 19 2012 Sibilla Oraculo Adivino
Card 51 Visits This card shows and older gentleman with a couple. He is presenting a chair to the lady. The smaller inset card is a Jack of Hearts. So perhaps this card represents a close friend. It may also represent a message about love, a love interest or something very important to the individual. Hearts deal with love, family, friends, Hearts are also water (emotions) I believe the card is saying...be open to a message delivered with courtesy...it is of importance. Or perhaps be ready to accept help or advice that comes your way. Hmmm...interesting card. I love the Sibilla deck I have. __________________ A dragonfly is a link to the past, a promise for the future, & a reminder of the magic of the moment." |

Friday Oct. 26, 2012 Mexican Loteria
50. El Pescado (The Fish) El que por la boca muere. He who dies by the mouth. Interpretations: It is better to keep your mouth shut. OR Someone is about to speak out and this will cause trouble. OR There is much miscommunication in this situation. Hmmm...rather a strange card for today,,,,,I have lots to do today to get ready for a gathering at my house tonight...so perhaps the card is saying..."keep your mouth shut and get busy." That would definitely make sense...along with the fact that I got up feeling like complianing because of lack of help with this endeavor.... So maybe the message is....don't complain just get busy...which makes sense because in the past complaining hasn't helped...

My personal Journey deck.
Card: Man in the Attic Mystery, Things unnoticed, unacknowledged or ignored. It is possible you are missing something that is right in front of you. Do not just accept something....ask questions. Interesting card for today...important meeting this morning....hmmmmm. __________________ A dragonfly is a link to the past, a promise for the future, & a reminder of the magic of the moment." |
