I have recently obtained my mother-in-laws tarot cards...she passed away in 2009...My question is...can I use them??? Me and her son are not together anymore and something just doesnt feel right...She did give them to me before she passed on but I am just not sure how she would feel now...I hope this makes sense...thank you |

would her son want them or would he just toss them in a drawer until he gets around to selling them on ebay? Did the woman like you? If so, then she probably wanted you to have them as a gift, or she'd have given them to someone else in her family. If her son would be interested, and you feel they were given to you as part of a couple (you and him) then I suppose you could pass them along to him....but if he doesn't care, then why bother? It's not like they are valuable sentimental jewelry that has been in the family for generations... and lots of people buy used decks, by the way. Probably half of mine originally belonged to someone else. Just curious, but what decks are they? |

We didn't always get along but she knew I loved her and her me...her son doesn't want the cards he told me he found them and I could get them...the thing is I left before she passed and she wanted us to work things out...we didn't and now I'm not so sure if she would be disappointed and would have changed her mind about the things she did give to me as gifts...I'm not sure if I would even use them...they were just something we enjoyed together |

yes, you can use them... maybe you will need a little more time until the deck grows on you and you will be able to connect to it... but sure, go ahead __________________ Enlighten yourself... |

My guess is she would like to see the cards used by someone who will appreciate them, no matter what happened between you and her son. __________________ *Ad Astra* |

When in doubt, do a one-card question with the decks asking if THEY want you to use them. (I've gotten some "no's" on that question that kept me from wasting money.) |

Ivorwhen, I'm just curious, what card would indicate that, and how did you know it was saying "no"? I haven't gotten a handle yet on yes/no questions being answered by the cards and it seems tricky. |
