Recommended Gems for Helping Memory Gain
Hello C & H Frequenters, I was wondering if there were any particular crystals (that are easy to purchase/find) recommended for helping memory gain or helping to prevent memory loss. I've been getting more absent minded than usual and today I pretty much had a meltdown for forgetting where I placed some credit cards. I currently own three clear quartz crystals (pendulum form), rose quartz (pendulum form), and a small handful of grief stones (but not helpful with memory loss )So what crystals do you usually use for your forgetfulness? Any herbs even? Veggies? ![]() Edit: For some reason my mind keeps thinking up the word "Soladite"... __________________ I am an expert in behaving like myself :) --Reminder to Self: You have a life that needs your entire focus on. I just checked a bunch of the crystals resources I use, Yineth, and the stones mentioned most often across all of them as helpers where memory is concerned would include Emerald, Calcite (not too much specificity about which individual colors of Calcite are best for this, though), Hematite, and Pyrite. Azurite and Andalusite get a couple of mentions each, and one of the sites also lists Sodalite here (I'm guessing this is the stone you were thinking of). You might consider trying one or more of those to see if they work well with you...good luck! |

Minerals which for me seem to enhance mental acuity would be carnelian, tiger's eye, hematite, citrine, and bloodstone. I normally wear a sodalite cross pendant. Since I've worn the cross, I haven't had a memory problem. |

Thank you fracture and Lrichard for your inputs. I'll try to see about finding a reliable place to buy some gems. I would love to have them in jewelry form, but the costs for the gems just skyrocket after that it seems. Funny thing is my birthstone is the Emerald, so maybe I'm lacking in the greens haha. __________________ I am an expert in behaving like myself :) --Reminder to Self: You have a life that needs your entire focus on. Another good one would be fluorite. A good herb would be ginko biloba. Don't buy it as an OTC supplement though as they are not generally sufficient to have an effect. You should get some of the loose herb as well as a carrier herb such as gotu cola. You'll also want a capsule machine and some '00' gel caps. To determine a proper blend of ginko to gotu as well as a recommended dosage you should consult a certified herbologist (herbalist). __________________ ♠♦♦"We are quicksilver, a fleeting shadow, a distant sound. Well, Emerald was the stone mentioned most often in the various resources I checked: all but one tagged it as a possible memory-booster. If you feel an affinity for it, it might be a good one to try. Then again, Sodalite seemed to be trying to announce itself to you from what you were describing, so that could be another to consider as one of your first experiments -- I do think that things flash into our minds in that manner for definite reasons! |

While I should be more wary about buying things on eBay I managed to purchase a Sodalite pendant (I keep wanting to write it as 'Soladite' xD) As soon as it arrives I will be testing it out and most likely providing some feedback if any results occur ![]() Thank you to everyone who gave me inputs __________________ I am an expert in behaving like myself :) --Reminder to Self: You have a life that needs your entire focus on. While doing research for an Etsy posting, I was reminded that Amethyst is a stone that's got connections to improving wisdom, knowledge, and clear thinking. It was actually worn in ancient times to ward off drunkenness -- so if it's good for people who've, shall we say, chemically enhanced themselves, imagine how helpful it would be to a person who is sober, lol.
