Divination for missing persons

Hello!

Of late, I have found that I am incredibly talented at some of my divinatory skills. Especially dowsing, and I have found that it is almost always entirely correct, and I've taken to using dowsing to find objects around the house and so forth.

I've also dowsed for several missing persons in the past, but with these things one often tends not to get feedback (it is always for a friend of a friend, etc). About a year or more ago I'd scried to find a querent's missing relative. To cut a long story short, the relative was found where and when i had predicted they would be, and they had not left the city (again according to my prediction). This is the first time I ever received feedback for one of these readings, so I was really intrigued.

Has anyone else applied their divination skills to find missing persons, work with the police, or any similar work? How open are law-enforcing authorities to this sort of work (given that it is not scientific or failsafe or may not be reproducible)? How do you go about approachign someone to help the community like this?

My husband and I have done a little of our own research via Tarot and his own intuition re: a missing person in our local area. Neither of us knew this man; I didn't even live here at the time. The circumstances of his disappearance intrigued us so I did some tarot readings and we matched up some of the aspects with areas near here. The color blue keeps showing up, too, when we are out doing on-the-ground snooping. We believe that he is in an abandoned mine north of town, near an old ghost town in the foothills. We've seen blue paper, blue beer cans, and even a flock of mountain bluebirds - all on a dirt road that is little but sagebrush. So the blue definitely stands out. We've toyed with the idea of making an anonymous call to the police, but just haven't done it. The land where the mine is happens to be owned by some crotchity old guy who doesn't want anyone up there (we talked to one of his neighbors), or we were going to go check it out for ourselves. All the tarot signs point to this area, and my husband has "gut" feelings about it, too. A few years ago there was a missing child here in town, and he predicted he would be found in water, wearing a blue shirt - and he was. He hadn't been following the case at all and wasn't interested in it until I asked him what he thought.

Interesting! I have a truckload of questions now lol.

When did this happen? And which city/country are you from? I think in general a tip to the police wouldve been really great. So did you tip them then?

I would think for the police to take anyone seriously you would have to prove your track record to them by offering information which actually leads them in the right directon. At first this may not be taken up but if, after the case is closed, the information given turns out to be accurate and of good quality (ie nothing too vague) then after several 'hits' they may ask for help.

However, there are many, many people who do this and many, many more crack-pots who the police have to side step so I wouldn't expect any kind of positive response at first. Unless you know someone in authority in the police force who knows you well and trusts you, then it will be a long, hard slog to get anyone to take this seriously.

One way might be to follow a case, do your divining, write down the information you would give them in your own handwriting, sign and date it then photograph it somewhere where the date and time are visible and difficult to change. For example against a clock which shows the date and time in a bank - so easily verifiable after the event or against one of the arrival boards with a date and time on in an Airport arrivals area. Post these to your website and then see how your information matches the evidence as it turns up. Of course, this could take a while, some cases are not solved for years and some information is never made available to the public so you may not know how close you are but if you are incredibly accurate with all your readings then it should be easier to convince others to take your divination seriously.

Milfoil is right, getting the police to take seriously people who have done Tarot readings is going to be pretty difficult. That's been the main reason we haven't called. Ideally we would have like to been able to find the body and reported it anonymously but not having access to the property has put the kibosh on that.

We live in Idaho, USA. We received a lot of interesting pointers from the tarot reading that corresponded to places and features in the area. A connection to something religious or a church came up a couple of times, and the property just off the highway as you turn down the dirt road is owned by a well-known church pastor in town. I kept getting cards related to jewels and minerals, and could only think of the old mines in that area - which was good, BUT it also finally occurred to me that this entire area is in GEM County. Duh! My husband is a dowser and he was pointed toward a hilltop called Crown Point (also an aspect of "jewel"). This land is the privately owned property that we can't get access to. There is a particular mine there that is where we believe the victim to be. At the top of Crown Point is some sort of equipment and a little tiny shed of some kind (we've looked at it from the north and south with binoculars), and a little online research determined that it is a seismic detection site. So someone from USGS undoubtedly has access to it, as well as the landowner.

My husband has had some health problems over the last few months so we haven't been out to explore anymore. I do know that this missing person case is still active, and I highly suspect the police have a good idea of who is responsible - they just need more evidence or, even better, the body. The guy was a manager and DJ at a strip club, a gun enthusiast, and ran with a rather rough crowd. His car was at his house, so it looks like he went somewhere with someone. I think a few guys came to his house and just took him and drove out to this remote area and "took care" of him. I think it was over money or guns or women, or some combination thereof. I have no proof of this, other than some things that turned up in the tarot reading. There was definitely a woman involved, that came up strongly.

Anyway, I've also done a couple of readings on an elderly gentleman who went missing over a year ago from northern Nevada. His car was found turned the wrong way just off a freeway ramp out in the middle of nowhere (which pretty much describes northern Nevada). What makes it more interesting is that about 5 years earlier, another car was also found just off this exit ramp, and the woman who owned it has also been missing all this time.

yeah. I agree. I think the police might not be all that open to the idea. Although if I knew someone involved in an investigation and I started by providing information that was previously known only to them, they might perhaps believe me. Then again, I could be arrested as a potential suspect, lol.

I agree. Its' a shame to see an unexplored potential for our collective skills though, so perhaps we could do what Saker did, and at least help in the case through, at best, the families of the victims. Out here where I live most disappearances etc, are directly put up on facebook pages etc, through which we could at least reach out to the family of the missing or murdered, etc.

Still, I'm also a strong believer of the LOA, and perhaps those cases that are meant for us to be solved will find their way to us some way or another.

Love,
Ashtoreth
