Coins 8 - Tarot de Paris (TdM)
There are some funny markings on the 8 of coins. Black stripes seems to be added for some reason. Any ideas why? |

Hi Halla, One should order a good quality file at the BnF to judge if those 'stripes' are added. I only have the André Dimanche cards. But comparing with the other coins-cards I think the stripes you are talking about are original colors (green or blue) who turned blackish. I advise you to take a look at this post http://forum.tarothistory.com/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=755 on the Tarot History Forum. There is a lot of info about the TdP to be find there. Also a beter images of the 8 of coins. Btw: this tarot is not considered as a TdM. It's reffered to as a 'tarot de fantaisie'. Cheers, TdM lover |
