Yes it would! I'm thinking of volunteering at one of the ranches out here just to be near the horses. I'll shuck stalls, whatever. I know of one that a friend talked to me about, but it's a on the east side of the city and would probably take me an hour to get there. I'm going to have to focus out here on the west side. There are a few up the road in the desert, but I know I couldn't do it in the summer. The heat is just too brutal.

I've gotta go lie down for a bit. Stomach and head hurt.

Stay safe everyone.

Muck stalls, dearie...

I don't mind mucking stalls...IMO horse manure doesn't stink like cow or pig does....LOL

Take care of yourself Jo

Hey Emm, hiding in the bedroom is good. It has a bed. Perfect for wee nana-naps when browsing the net gets too exhausting.

Supposed to have a very domestic day here, bake a banana cake, do umpteen loads of laundry, clean...you know the drill.

Or I could stay in bed a bit longer

Yeah, that's the right word! See, you should be with horses!

But yeah...I grew up with horses I miss them greatly...

Tried to respond before but didn't go through...the connection is spotty, as I guess I should expect.

I LOVE horses and never minded mucking out stalls, I worked at a stable to earn lessons and show-entry privileges. Took a blue ribbon in show jumping on a gorgeous half-Arabian gelding named Crescent. (He had a crescent-moon blaze.) Ahhhh I miss horses!!!
