"Fortune Telling with Tarot Cards" (Stuart R Kaplan): Worth anything???
Bought this from a used book shop last week, for 50p! Just wondered if it is worth anything now, or likely to be in the future? First published 1970. This edition 1995. Good condition. Regards, Ian |

At the time it was written, it was one of only very few available, and filled a gap that really did need to be filled. It has since been superceded by his own other works (especially by his Tarot Classic), yet remains one of the only small books that focusses on the 1jj deck. |

This was the first tarot book I ever bought to go with my 1JJ Swiss about 23 years ago lol - I didn't take to the deck and always found the book very negative. There wasn't a lot of choice in books in those days. If you like the style of writing and the keywords used then for 50p it was a good buy. But its still a book that I never refer to these days - I think I must be biased about it. __________________ # # Emily # # ----------------------------------- A good student never stops learning Having fun with the Liber T |

I only bought it because it was a tarot book and it was 50P, I very briefly flicked through it before handing the coin over! I will get round to reading it one day. Too engrossed in my other tarot books at the moment. Regards, Ian |
