In the last year during a rather windy snowstorm fleckes of snow were flying off the roofs in a rather soothing practical manner. I started to realize that the snow was beign kicked off the roofs by snow faeries, as if to confirm this accusation, the wind died down a little bit but the snow was flying off the roof just as fast. Now this could be a natural occuring snow/wind reaction, but faeries in general are elemental and cosmic forces and this is how they come to be, through us and our beliefs about them. The following days were relaxing, the snow had finallly fallen down and moisture was in the air. However where i live the weather changes so rapidly that i am sure that certain faeries are more accustomed to warmer, or cooler, weather--but not both. |

What timing paradox!!! ![]() A couple of days ago I was Pming back and forth with Jewel. As we were talking I could see out my window and the snow would fall very heavy for about a minute, then stop completely, then start again, etc. I told her I thought someone was messing with me. And she said it had to be the snow faeries!!!!! ![]() Up until that time, I hadn't thought one way or the other if there were snow faeries or not. Now you bring them up too!!! I guess they want me to know they do exist! __________________ aeclectic name: faunabay fairy name: Pithia Feedle Blackthorn Silvenslipper |

8 inches of snow since last night, up here on Thunderbird mountain, New Mexico~! The baby boy and I were out playing in it this morning and although I never saw one, I can well imagine there are PLENTY of snow fae out there. Have you ever thought about how much fun it would be to sit on a clump of snow high up in a 500+year old Ponderosa pine, and when the weight of the snow finally gets heavy enough ... POOF~! Down you go, the long exilerating drop into a snowy soft 8 inch powder plunge, cushioning even the fattest and most rotund of fae folk. I KNOW they're out there playing today, even if I can't seem 'em head on. And, I agree they're elemental. To me, I see fire fae when the tiny embers escape the fire, or pop and explode as the wood burns and then float up and up before twinkling out into the night air. In the woodstove, I say they dance HOT dances that only certain Fae folk can withstand, and jump all over the stove bouncing off the stove glass as the wood snaps and crackles. __________________ Will Tarot for couture |

These are all such cool stories! As being a Texas gal...I have not seen a lot of snow in my life...but I can well see where they would be out playing in the Snow. I mean us humans enjoy it so much. Don't forget Jack Frost. Isn't he a snow feary? __________________ I am going to change my name to Karma and kick your butt myself. Jen Allen |

I love the Snow Queen Story. It is one of my favorite fairy tales. Fearies don't play by our rules...and in the stories they are always running off with someone..so I would think she would qualify as a feary __________________ I am going to change my name to Karma and kick your butt myself.
