I saw it at Johannesburg airport recently. I flicked through it but didn't have the opportunity to investigate further. It does indeed use the TdM. I think it is a reprint. It looks OK, but again - no time to read and assess it properly! It was a fat book ![]() I seem to remember it came from Scotland. __________________ All generalizations are false, including this one. Mark Twain |

Hi I have this book but I think the cover is just a reprint its using RW for its images its a really dodgy book not worth the pulp its written on. I think I picked it up from the reject shop for two dollars, Australians will be familiar with the reject shop and its high quality items, the name says it all really. But heres the details. Cover: purple cover, with pictures or the sun and wheel of fortune within a diamond. ISBN: 1 85534 296 0 Published in this edition 2000 by Geddes & Grosset and imprint of Children’s Leisure Products Limited Copyright 1996 Children’s Leisure Products Limited, David Dale House, New Lanark, ML11 9DJ, Scotland Hope that helps. __________________ *Hold Fast* |

I got this book from a bargain bookshop too - I wouldn't have paid full price for it - 317 pages it may have but only 209 are tarot related. The typeset used is also very large. You'll learn nothing new about the TdM in this book. It uses the TdM as the illustrations (black and white) but doesn't go into any detail of what you see on the TdM card. They could just have used the RWS for this book, it really wouldn't have made much of a difference. __________________ # # Emily # # ----------------------------------- A good student never stops learning Having fun with the Liber T |

I agree with Emily I have this book and was very disappointed in it, infact after my first initial flick through I realised that it says nothing about the TdM! The Fool is numbered 0 and is at the beginning of the Majors and also... 'at the beginning of his spiritual journey". The font is huge, the paper is thin and there are loads of mistakes (have a look at the Chariot, Justice and Hermit numbers on the cards), and repetition. __________________ Insh'Allah Bukra Mumkin |
