lenormand interpretation: help + insight please.

argh.
am trying to make sense of the horizontal future line after my card (lady)...am confused...!

would like to focus on love aspect in 9x4 layout:

fox bear letter park scythe child ship mountain snake
anchor dog sun book moon tower whip rider birds
key lady heart stork ring man coffin path tree
fish star clover cross lily bouquet home clouds mouse

i'm taking the coffin as transformation in this situation...or is that too optimistic?

my interpretation is...
1) i'll have to choose between 2 men?
2) there's a man coming and possible path to happiness?

am i fooling myself?

any insight will be much appreciated!!!

So is your 'lady' - facing to the right then?
The Lady in the two decks I have, one faces ahead but my fav Lenormand deck, the lady is facing to the left - which mean you have the key aspect in front of you.

Just looking at the surrounding cards there is news coming, one about a job, a vacancy.

Be open to offers, and be open to offering yourself to help others, and a little more relaxed, ready to put yourself out there and help a friend who is in need.

You have a star beneath you which is positive - hopes and dreams.

Money and security are favourable if you look to secure yourself and have a plan ahead - possibly there needs to be a more serious approach - the money will be there, but what it may be more about what you do with it.

Thers the possibility a social invitation which you have been waiting for.

Just another question ... in your reading which way is the Man facing?

My cards show the Lady and the Man with their backs to each other which (in your reading) would see the Heart, Stork and Ring between them - which could mean that there is some issue, but do they have turned their back on these things? Im not also sure if this is an issue relating to someone or something.

Just some thoughts here.

thanks so much for your input. a lot of what you've said makes sense.

the lady card in my deck (Piatnik 1941) is mostly facing forward but perhaps a little bit more to the left than the front. the man is also mainly facing fwd but his face is turned slightly to the right + also bent fwd reading the front of an unopened letter in his hand.

hmm well there is a man involved and earlier this year we realised that there had been a misunderstanding between us. other than that there hasn't been any visible development to my knowledge...and well the man and woman in the spread definitely aren't facing each other that's for sure! I didn't think of that. got a bit freaked out on seeing the spread!

on another note...

it is so hard to find Lenormand resources!
had seen a lenormand book listed on Adyar website so rang them only to be told that book is definitely out of print + unavail.

yes, its such a shame, that resources are either in a different language to English, out of print, or yet to be printed

This is where intuition is a really good cheap method LOL!!

There is a thread on Lenormand type cards in the Oracle Section, I think, and there are some greafinds in amongst them for decks and LWB (little White books) - a new Lenoramnd style deck out which is very inexpensive and beautiful as well is the Mystical Lenormand - and there are threads that relate to that as well.

If you use the SEARCH function and type in Lenormand, a few threads will come up on the subject, then go through them to see what you can find which will help

... and the realtionship thing - ah, thats what it looked like to me too.

I recently got Lo Scarabeo's French Cartomancy, which is a reproduction of a gorgeous old Petit Lenormand. AND it has the playing-card insets.

I got the deck alone but it also comes in a deck and book set for about $15.
I can't vouch if the book is any good or not, though. It's excerpted in the LWB that came with my deck and while some of the interps are insightful, others strike me as a little off.
