ok, i got my pendulum, what questions should i ask it to find my spirit guide(s)?

first of all you need to find out what your pendulum believes the answers "yes", "no", and "maybe" are. usually "yes" will swing one way opposite of "no" and "maybe" in yet another way. for me, "yes" is a vertical motion and "no" horizontal. "maybe" swings in a sort of circular motion. I think this is the way it moves for most folks who use the pendulum, but who knows. you need to try it a few times with questions that you know the answer to already.

then, once you determine those answers above, possible questions could be:
1. Is my spirit guide someone I've known in my past?
2. Is my s.g. someone whom I've met before?

I'm sure you get the idea and can think of some questions you prefer. good luck

YOu do NOT find your "guides" with a pendulum!!!
Look into your dreams! what animal, plant, none human and or none contemporary entity is appearing recurrently.
-What is your favorite critter???!!
-Learn EVERYTHING about it its live, its behaviour, what plants or other animals it eats....
-What critters do you meet in daily life?? 4 times in or from 4 different directions!!!??
-Again learn EVERYTHING about it its live, its behaviour, what plants or other animals it eats....who is its main predator....
That is how youget opened up to your Gatekeeper who may reveal more...

-Do THAT for 1 year!!
And use a journal to keep notes.

I would have to agree with Mi-Shell. A pendulum is a tool which can bring you information from many areas.

Your guide/teacher/gatekeeper/power animal will show themself to you when the time is right, when you are ready.

Taking note of everything that happens in both dreams and waking life will bring you closer to understanding.

ace of cups---milfoil & mishell are probably correct in this. as a matter of fact, i never knew of anyone who used this method to try and locate their guide. to do that, i would think meditation is your best bet, and also taking note of your dreams, as noted by mi-shell.

I met my spirit guide through a dream state, or at least one of them, (as I believe we have many guides). This can take some time, because as noted previously, they only present themselves when you are ready for it, and you don't necessarily set that time yourself.

practicing meditation is the best way to meet your guide. however, i don't see why you can't ask questions about your spirit guide using your pendulum. it is after all, yet another tool of divination. there are some wonderful tarot spreads listed on this site also that can help you determine things about your spirit guide. have you tried them yet?

i worked for me, i found it was male, a black crow, and i saw two black crows out the window an hour later, wierd huh? and my pendulum has gotten really accurate, and i call my guide before i use it, it worked for me, and the dream thing, im an insomniac, it could be weeks before i could look into it, but insomia is no problem to loose sleep over ! so i shouldn't worry lol.

also, i did my pendulum using a chart from here, you make them yourself and print them, really cool!
