Hi Amythist, I frequently use a 5-card Past-Present-Future spread. Here's the position meanings I use; 1 = Past 2 = More recent past 3 = Present 4 = Near future 5 = Future I generally consider card #1 and #5 to be looking at occurances or influences which have occured (or will) within the past 3 weeks. Cards #2 and #4 are usually within 1 to 2 weeks. If I need to look deeper into the past / future, I'll add a card to each end making it a 7-card spread.
