Which is the "real" Magus?

I advocate always going with whatever you feel is right and choosing whatever Magus you are comfortable with, but just for the sake of "knowing," which is the Magus Crowley originally intended for the deck to have?

I think that this one is the one which Crowley intended to be used. This is the card which comes with the decks which contain one Magus card.

I have an older deck, one with only one Magus, and you are both correct, that is the one that came with my deck.

are there any sites that show the other two magus? my deck only has the one and w/ all this talk about the other two i'm solely tempted to go and get the muller deck just so i can see the other two.

Oh and BTW...this scan does NOT do justice to these cards....they look pretty fuzzy and washed out here, but in reality they are very nice!

Besides the 2 magus cards rejected by Crowley that are included in the 3-magus Thoth decks, there were quite a few other paintings and drawings by Harris (for other cards) that were rejected by Crowley. Some of those paintings and drawings have survived. For example:

I love the magician that Dragons Wing pointed out. You're right, it's a compelling image.

I also like the rejected Moon better than the one that made it -- it seems more dreamlike to me.
