This is a spread for when you are looking for a new home - either a specific house, or just thinking of moving to a new location. I think the number 8 is good for this type of spread.
OK, the "shape" the cards are laid out in are like a little path leading up to a house - like the kind a child would draw:

This spread came in very usefully for a co-worker's reading. It rang true on three levels -financial, spiritual and personal- just what you would expect from the eotion of buying a new home. It also helps her to dodge a real bullet! I have changed the positions to make a question mark added the quint card and shadow card for clarity (for the querent, not me):

So I wanted to try DeLani's spread for a friend tonight, but I didn't quite need the path information, and wanted a bit different information from Dovanna's 3 card apartment spread. Here's my own little modification, and my first attempt at a spread. Simply called it a "New House" spread. (Shaped like a house with a door in the center)

3. Positives about the environment.
4. Negatives about the environment.
5. Overall outlook of the apartment. (apex of roof)
6. What you need to do to get the apartment. (door)
