Umbrae
The Celts refer to them as ‘Cauldron’s’; the Hindus call them Chakras. The Norse/Teutonic peoples call them ‘Wheels’.
They are not pictured as static areas of light, but as spinning wheels of light.
They differ from the Hindu slightly.
They have corresponding runes, and colors.
Feet – Berkano – Brown-Green (almost black)
Groin/Base of Spine – Laguz – deep deep greenish blue with a red-gold center
Solar Plexus – Jera – Orange-Red
Heart – Wunjo - Gold
Throat – Ansuz – Deep Blue
Brow (third eye) – Mannaz – Deep Violet
Crown – Elhaz – Rainbow White
The Wheels are perceived as gateways for both, bringing strength from the soul to the earthly realm and from other worlds to the soul.
In a couple of days, I will post about ‘Waking the Wheels, and setting them to spin’.
