Does anyone know of a good one to figure out why every avenue for romance with known and unknown parties seems to be blocked?

I'm feeling slightly out of control and as if "something else" is distinctly "in control" of these energies.

Are you supposed to somehow pick a wand card for #5, cup for 6, sword for 7, and pentacle for 8? Or are they just whatever card lands there?
