Mystery deck - The solution - but I lost the question

AGES ago, someone here posted asking to identify a TdM-ish deck. I knew it was familiar, not least the backs - but I couldn't find it at the time. Now I actually have it, and it's the one someone here asked what deck was inside the box set for preorder on BD - no cards showed, and I emailed to the publisher (I never got an answer, of course...).

I just found a used copy in Paris. And can I find the other thread where someone asked, with a pic of the cards ? Of COURSE not - but if a mod can, please help.

Here are some cards - not least the backs - I forget which were posted at the time in the thread I can't find, but the back was the killer. It was originally published by Quantum books, and this French one is published by Mango. Apparently the art is by Andrew Pinder; the cover of the set/book is by Darla Hallmark (I hope with her permission). The book is by one C. Davidson, and the kit calls itself "Le Tarot Divinatoire" - REALLY helpful. I suspected it might be one I found listed under Pinder's name on like as "Tarot Wisdom Book and Cards (2015)"

And yes: here it is on bookdepository.

I hope this helps someone, sometime, some place....

Thanks for the info. Majors look cool. What are the minors like? What size are the cards? That publisher doesn't put any info or pictures about what decks are in their boxes. So weird/annoying.

gregory

Minors are pippy as they come but nicely done. Cards are 2.5 inches by ALMOST 4 inches. The courts are similar in style to the majors.

FLizarraga

Sorry, gregory, I got here thinking that this was about a reading made for somebody... 😂😂😂😂😂

I'm sort of enabled, though. Is it borderless, or did you trim it?

gregory

No - that's exactly how it comes. I don't trim except in emergencies (see under Tarot Pink !)

rwcarter

Those card images/style don't ring a bell with me. Sorry.

That Devil has lo-o-ong Snake!

(He'd be popular in the porn industry, I'm thinking)

Darn. It IS in a thread here - that was one reason I was so amazed to open the pack (it was used, so I could do so in the store - I was assuyming it was another reincarnation of the usual ones that show up in kits !) I THINK one of the cards posted was the wheel, when I dredge the old memory. I'll post that later....
