Magical Forest - 5 of Wands

from lwb: satisfaction in using your own means

The frogs are struggling to keep the wands up. I can't tell if they are
all trying to keep them up or if some of them are working against the three
seem to be the focus of this card.
The two in the front appear to be just walking up to the group.
They seem to be raising their wands over the top of the others to push
them down.

Struggles that only you can work through, issues that you must face alone.
The colors of this card are not the most pleasant either. The frogs are
almost blending in with the ground. They need to make themselves
seen, stand up for themselves.

Magical Forest- Five of Wands

I see this card as meaning struggles, petty annoyances and road blocks that maybe are not too tremendous in nature but are annoying none the less. It almost looks as if those little frogs might join their sticks to form a star if they could only work together and not contrary to each other. I agree about the color, it almost upsets one's tummy like when you let the stress of minor hassels get to you.

The colors of the cards are one of the things I like so much about this deck.
They all go along with the meanings of the cards. This card in particular
is really negative.

I noticed that, I love the rosey hues in the Cups suit but some of the wands have that olive-ish gold tone that just doesn't sit right as far as being pleasant to look at. I wonder if that was the subtle intended effect by the artist to convey a more contrary feeling or simply that was the colors he picked to show the earth beneath the little frog's feet?

That is a weird color for the ground beneath the frogs, it's not the desert,
frogs couldn't live in the desert. It's not great like grass so what would that
be? strange.

I'm thinking marsh or swamp....
