Wow, those look so good! You did a fine job and I think this is very inspiring for what to do with the cards. Thanks so much for taking the time to do this as you lay your head down for sleep -- that means a lot!

Nah, it was only 7 am , just trying to wind you up.

Looking at the second photo, I am tempted to get out my fine nail file and file down those tiny burrs, just to make it perfect.

I've started filing down the burrs. The printing and cutting on this deck is not perfect. Some of the cards are about 1mm to one side or the other and the cards are slightly different sizes. I am trimming down the larger, to-one-side decks to be perfect and they are all coming down to being the same size now. It will take a while to do, but I'll get there.

I bit the bullet last month and bought this deck as a birthday present to myself. I adore the art; it is amazing. But I am woefully disappointed in the square corners. However, the pix Baylys posted here after she trimmed hers show how great it could look so I am tempted. But I've only ever trimmed one deck before.

I'm not sure whether or not I'll trim it or sell it here in the U.S. for local shipping and take the hit on the shipping from Italy. At this point it will just sit unused in the tarot chest. What a pity!

Just get a good small size corner rounder, they are rather cheap and easy to use. Take care and practise on other stuff first until you get the hang of it.

Absolutely. I picked up a tiny corner rounder at the local office supply store for about $5. It only took about 15 minutes for me to do the whole deck, and I enjoy them so much more now!

Mell, you can do it. Until I did this I had NEVER trimmed or altered a deck. Go for it. It is so much more usable with the corners off. Get a small rounder and you'll be fine. It honestly only took a few minutes to do the whole deck.
