Bohemian Gothic: 2nd vs. 1st Edition

Thirteen

Thanks to a mix-up with my post office, I have only now managed to get a hold of my 2nd edition deck (it came in late August but got stuck at the post office!). I've only given it a cursory glance, but I wanted to commend Karen and Alex for how beautiful (once again) this deck is. The details are easier to see in this deck, the colors more vibrant, and the scenes seem almost three dimensional, as if we could step right into the card.

People in the cards not only "pop," but, when looking out at the reader, give us a feeling that they know we're there and plan to speak to us. Which makes the deck more frighting, more fascinating, more vivid, and more "textured."

Simply marvelous!
