A couple of years ago (or more) it was posted that May 25 would be Wear the Lilac Day as a tribute to Pratchett and an awareness thing for Alzheimer's (the lilac-wearing being from Night Watch). But I haven't heard anything about it since, and no one's mentioned it here in a while. It was mentioned the first year I knew about it, but, well... I'd have to search the old threads for it.
Some of us were going back & forth about lilacs, towels, Tarot, etc., and whether lilacs could be found in the southern hemisphere.
