In remembrance of lost decks, celebration of found decks!

Hi!

In my tarot times, I've lost one deck, experienced one deck getting stolen from me, and lost-and-found(!) one deck! (And that was after months of being missing, hooray!)

Does anyone have interesting stories about losing and/or finding decks? These occasions have all been memorable (and frustrating) for me, so I'd like to hear others' similar stories

An ex of mine, years ago, made a portion of my decks disappear.

I discovered that the Bosch, amongst others, had gone. I loved it and missed it. I mentioned that I wanted it back on an email Tarot-based mailing list community. A woman there very kindly sent me the Brueghel, which wasn't what I wanted.

In the meantime, Grizabella had come by the Bosch as she was in search of the Brueghel.

We were both in possession of a deck we were lukewarm about, in mistake for a deck we were in love with, and the other person had the deck we really craved. Well, there was really only one thing we could do ... <grin>
