German playing cards?

The Binokel/Gaigel has a beautiful "Blatt" but it has only 7s and 10s, no 8s and 9s. I don't know whether there's a tradition of fortune telling with those cards; I guess in each area of Germany, Switzerland or Austria where these decks were in use, people also used them for such purposes ;-)

I recently came across a link that describes the spanish method of reading cards. Their decks come without 8's and 9's.

Oh, that's great. It all depends on the game that can be played with each deck, I think - and they're all traditional games.

I'm collecting interpretations right now and see how they work with my decks, thank you very much, I never looked at Spanish cards before - really interesting!

I recently bought a rather confusing deck from Lo Scarabeo's Playing Card Collection, Don Quichotte which comes with 12 cards.
Never practised with it, but I should give it a try. :)

The Leesa Ellis book meanwhile found its way into my Kindle :))))
