Hey everyone it's that time.
I'm still having a blast with the tumbler, and just finished my second batch of stones. I am finding that it takes longer to tumble them than I had thought, but that could be because the stones I started with were very ragged and sharp instead of already having a little shape to them.
These stones have NOT been tumbled to round, smooth perfection. I prefer them to retain a bit of personality in their shape, I think they make better specimens this way. JMO. So they are imperfect, but beautiful.
There are about thirty of them here, I have identified petrified wood, rose quartz, agates, jaspers, tiger eye, calcite, unakite and what I believe to be bloodstone,,,also two pieces of tumbled milky quartz. The rest are anyone's guess . I will also include a rough piece of larger quartz from the mine that I think looks better untumbled.
All in all, I'm pleased with the way they turned out and now addicted to the tumbling (my OH has challenged me to tumble the entire driveway, lol, The man thinks I've lost it. )
There is a photo here of the stones you will receive, most are 1-3 inches across.

I have the Tarot of Gemstones and Crystals, so I thought that might be a good one to use for the drawing. I have listed the Major Arcana. Choose a card, and I will draw have my son draw next tuesday for the winner. I don't mind incurring shipping, so the contest is open to anyone worldwide.
Good luck!
