Need help with picking a deck

Hi

I am trying to decide on a deck for a woman I know. She of Italian decent. She knows nothing about Tarot, but seemed somewhat interested/curious when I mentioned it to her. I think it could help her with guidance.

i need a deck that is easy to read for beginners. But has some Italian history in the pictures, to catch her interest through pictures of Italian culture.

Can any help with suggestions.

The Ancient Italian might be a lovely way for her to connect to the majors, with the cards written in Italian, as well. It is a gorgeous deck!

There is also Brian William's Renaissance Tarot. The companion book 'A Renaissance Tarot' might be a perfect way to catch her interest. And even if she doesn't connect with tarot as such, there is a lot to learn regarding mythology and classical symbolism and art. The court cards are drawn to include different Italian cities. There are tiny keywords on the minors and they are in both English and Italian. It's a gorgeous deck and one I'd recommend to anyone who has an interest in Mythology or Italy or anyone who likes some substance with their tarot.
