moon as feelings of someone

wind

What would you say that moon is signaling as for someone's feelings for you?

-the person is not clear about the feelings how she/he feels, all is blurred
-feelings can be quite deep - touching the unconscious patterns and needs
-the person feels there is danger or is unsure how to proceed
-person is meeting his/hers fears
-"I remind him of his mother?":)
-the woman wants to mother him
-person feels that there is deep connection but still a mysterious one
-a connection which can be dramatic but which cannot be broken so easily because there seem to be deep ties connecting the people, maybe even from the past lifes

Any other thoughts?

I'd say it is not going to be easy, but the experience will be worth it in the end. There's a lot of negative energy, certainly a good deal of confusing, misunderstanding, and miscommuncation, that is going to have to be traveled through, but the core is good. The other person may see the querant as unfathomable, mysterious, intriguing, slightly dangerous, a little emotional, but something he feels drawn to, like the tidal forces the moon represents on earth.

and as always!! this depends upon the other cards in the spread.

But in my deck the moon, rather than represent the "deadly mother" seems to represent the "faery godmother" come to light my way with her wand. Of course, I just have to keep moving forward toward her light. But depending on the other cards in the spread, I'm sure there could easily be all sorts of freudian mother overtones.

I'd say, be wary, be cautious, but have faith and hope and keep moving forward. Either way, at the end of it you'll have a new dawn, whether that means the relationship is a go or whether it is time to start all over again.

A stream of irrational psychic energy that stems from the subject and leads back to the subject; the person is attracted to the relationship, but not to you.

:D

Which deck gives you the impression of 'faery godmother'? The Moon is definitely more 'deadly mother' in my deck (Winged Spirit Tarot), being portrayed as Lilith.

I've had it show up as a deep, psychic kind of connection, someone you don't need words with, you just know. And as feeling enchanted and seduced. Have also had it show up as wildly fluctuating feelings and as confusion/feeling "in the dark", unconscious desires, facing deep fears, (like the bogart in Harry Potter right?). It can be a deeply psychological card.

Look to the other cards for clarification, if you have a card for how the person sees the other person, etc. Maybe they're literally dreaming about the other person, sometimes the majors can be literal that way. Maybe they're "crazy for you."

For me mother feelings usually up with the Empress card. She's the one who'd want to baby and nurture and smother, whereas the Moon for me is more asscociated with the Priestess, it's her territory, mystery, magic, seduction, intuition, the unconscious, the unspoken, etc. It's more like that song about the magic carpet ride, you know that one? I think it's Steppenwolf?

You don't know what we can find
Why don't you come with me little girl
On a magic carpet ride
You don't know what we can see
Why don't you tell your dreams to me
Fantasy will set you free

I thought The Moon appears, when somebody in love wants to see the future and this denied rebelling itself.
In other words, some people insecure, asking several times the same question on a different way.
I think, the answer to this continuously asking is The Moon.
May be “She” The Moon is saying “What really you want to know/asking for”
So, this uncertainty is for the querent not for the question

It would make me very nervous if I got the Moon card as someone's feelings for me. To me, it could indicate serious mental disturbances.

I agree, the person is crazy and a liar. That is my opinion. I think it may be the person is still in the closet regarding sexuality, it depends on the questionand card positions.
