Tarot of the Origins: Of Birds and Men

Mi-Shell

Of Birds and Men:
12 animal of jewels:
The young boy is completely still.
No movement.
It is a special moment.
More special than he is realizing right now.
A Yellow Bellied Warbler has landed on his head and is proceeding to pull hair from his scalp – for its nest.
It flies of.
The boy grins.
Are there any other people around? Friends? Siblings?
It is such a shame, that in most of these cards we see only one individual in isolation of his/ her peers. That is so very unlike life in the paleolithic. Sure, there were few people around, but the few that were there lived in close-knit communities.
Back to our young guy: he does not move. The bird is coming back. Lands again, pulls a few more hairs. It is a special moment, a bond is formed.
The boy aligns his Soul to - Birds! :)
With so few humans around, Birds, wildlife is not yet shy and fearful, but quite trusting – often to its detriment.
But not here, not today, not this time.
This Soul bond will hold.
The boy will grow up being a Bird man.

I like to think, that we are seeing him again:
In the 2 of Nature:
A little older now.
Aside from his bone toy,is he holding a sling stick for hunting small game?
Would he hunt birds?
Years flutter by, like Birds, migrate into -time passing....

The Fool!?? Is that him? In his ripe old age?
Remembering?
Telling the story?

8 of Nature:
And then, long after he passed into Spirit
and a Tree grew on his grave,
grew to maturity, then decayed to become an old gnarled Tree root......
The Birds
they still come by....
They remember
