Kipper Resources for the bad at German ?

Chitrani

I feel sorta bad for asking, but search is being wonky for me the past few days.

My first kipper deck is about to get here and I haven't spoken German since I was about 6 years old. While I can often puzzle out some German, like Max and Mortiz, or my ancient copy of Der Struwwelpeter, my German is for the most part long forgotten :(

So, I need some suggestions on Kipper resources which are either in English... or German even a six year old could read !

I know there are videos on Youtube, but since I'm Deaf, I don't expect them to help much :( Unless someone knows of videos which are well captioned or subtitled ! (that would be awesome :)

Any suggestions will be much appreciated, including buying a German dictionary and struggling along in German, lol.

Chitrani,
Nice to virtually meet your acquaintance!

Firstly, respect to you for speaking a second language! My sister is deaf and found learning the German language was a pain in the butt. But she muscled through HS German. She still knows the cuss words and yes, Der Struwwelpeter.

Unfortunately, the Kipper system doesn't really an English fan base yet. I know Ciro Marchetti just released a Kipper deck, so I imagine the guidebook is in English. I have some notes for Kipper cards that I did in English. I can share them if you like.

Try YouTube Malkiel ( Rouven Dietrich). I just got my first deck of Kipper cards and I find him very helpful, he is also quite funny at times. I first learned about him from his Lenormand videos. Hope this helps
