I agree, it's a fascinating, elusive deck. I have been able to get a few good readings out of the Minchiate, the Mantegna even, but the Sola Busca eludes me. It's a magnificent sphinx of a deck.
It is very mysterious and yet in some ways familiar because it has influenced decks that are standards today. I think that's one reason why it is so intriguing. Some cards are clear and one feels one is about to "get it." It draws the would-be reader in that way and keeps him or her hanging, like a lover who gives the body but will not open the heart.
