Clow Cards: The Snow

This may indicate that you have been a little hard on yourself or others, and may need to just soften up a little. It does not mean you should cede to everything, but just melt your heart a little so that emotions can run more freely and healthily. Someone may be either feeling a cold shoulder or are guilty of offering a cold shoulder where people are taken by surprise at such an approach.

Be careful of being too sentimental. You may need to put some distance between yourself and something or someone, but not necessarily isolate yourself totally. If someone is being overly gushy, be careful you are not caught up in the floods that could follow. (usually of tears)

The Snow (Eight of Spades [Swords])

Upright: Restricted action, indecision, censure, temporary illness, weakness, a prisoner. A warning with regard to any enterprise in hand. Also opposition from friends. Stop fussing about the past. Try
changing your point-of-view and take an active part in the “new” world.

Reverse: Relaxation, new beginnings possible, freedom

Meanings inspired from the anime

The Snow is a woman-like entity who has the ability to control and create great amount of snow, even in hot weather. She is quite aggressive and will attack by creating blizzards. It could represent a person with a 'cold heart' who likes to attack/bully people relentlessly.

In the anime, the Snow created a huge snowstorm in the middle of summer, burying the whole town quite quickly. It could symbolize a sudden change, something unexpected/surprising.

The Snow is under the Watery, the Moon and is related to Eastern magic.
