Download Book of Thoth from here !

ninewaters

Halo guys,

I just switch over from RWS to Thoth, and is pretty confused over the entire thing.

I tried to find the links to download the Book of Thoth (I was almost going to get one from the store !), since the links provided are broken.

so, I searched and found one, provided by

http://www.hermetics.org/home.html
The Hermetics

This is the direct link
http://www.hermetics.org/pdf/Book_of_Thoth.pdf

and also,

I somehow think that RWS got really outstanding and well-researched websites like Aeclectic Tarot and Learning Tarot.

Wondering, if any of you guys could help me by providing sites or books that are as good as AT and LT.

and we got alot of opinions on the card here, but then it seems a bit scattered, as in after reading through 20 posts, the meaning and etc is still not that clear.

Either, I am dumb or the copy is a bit dodgy, cos there are weird symbols all over. I am just too dumb to understand.

What?

You've been reading too much Aleister Crowley.
Cut it out and get real.
I enjoyed your post.

Okie, I got a site here.

Halo,

I have been trying to download all possible thoth sites for offline viewing, because I normally view them during work, when the internet is limited, but at home it is unlimited.

Okie, I came across

www.angelpaths.com

my personal opinion is, <edited to remove personal atack>.

On the other hand,

http://www.tryskelion.com

is a non-commercial site, and have a better and clearer interpretations. I have it downloaded for offline browsing.

well, thanks for the reply, and also please contribute links here : D

Hi ninewaters

Thanks for the links. I had the Tryskelion one printed off and made into a book once but I got rid of it and now I regret that. I couldn't find the site again - so thanks so much for this link, I have bookmarked it now.

In another thread Vincent gave me this link to The Book of Thoth which you may find useful. I personally find it a bit hard going but I am ploughing my way through it in the hope that some of it is at my level of understanding. Well, he was a genius (so 'they' say) so I don't expect to understand it all!

Anyway, see how you go:

I found that I didn't get on with the online versions of The Book of Thoth so I bought a copy and although still hard to plough through it does make for easier reading. Online it didn't seem to sink in and I couldn't concentrate for some reason but once I had the paper book in my hands it was much better. I still haven't read all of it but I use the book for reference often. :)
