Pagan Tarot LS The Star

Mi-Shell

I like to think that this card depicts the third part of an initiation sequence begun with the Hermit card, where She writes her initiation vows,

then the hanged Man, the begin of the ritual of initiation,

then now the Star and culminating in the Death card = re-birth after having encountered the Goddess:

Here we see our seeker dressed in her ceremonial robe walking at night along a barren path flanked by large Trees and rocks.
While the stars flimmer and sparkle above she is utterly captivated by the goddess appearing naked and beautiful right in front of her.
I see here not what on-lookers may see: 2 girls guiding another blindfolded girl through the woods, but what she sees:
Deeply in trance she does not notice her 2 companions that guide her bound and blindfolded form, no, she is stepping across the threshold of the Otherworld far from any earthly bounds and in a mirage of star light, has a powerful and transformational vision that she will never forget and that will shape her future life.
